Piedmont Avenue - Safer Streets Community Survey
The City of Atlanta is committed to safer streets and improving access to jobs and opportunities for all Atlantans whether walking, biking, scooting or taking transit.

Over two dozen Atlantans lose their life crossing the street each year, a figure that is unacceptable. To address this safety crisis and save lives the City of Atlanta is taking Fast Action for Safer Streets, tripling the number of protected bike lanes in Atlanta by 2021.

There is no time to waste when the risk is even more people could lose their lives. The City of Atlanta wants to start implementing changes in spring 2020, and needs your help!

Piedmont Avenue will be one of the safety improvements planned for 2020. In order to get a complete picture of  needs for this area, we would like to know your experiences traveling on Piedmont Avenue between MLK and North Ave, how you get around the neighborhood, and what if any issues you have in doing so.

Your perspective is important to help guide our process and create a transportation system that works for everyone. Results of the survey will be presented and discussed at upcoming public meetings, give your feedback today to influence the design of a safer Piedmont Avenue!
