Welcome to the Saint Leo University resource site for Internet Connected Classrooms (ICC) and Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing, maintained by the Office of Faculty Development & Enrichment. For our Internet Connected Classrooms, we are currently using Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing as our connection platform. In addition, other types of classes utilize the Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing service for collaboration, virtual office hours, and other purposes.

I Need to Talk to Someone!

If you need personal technical support for using Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing, use the Blackboard Collaborate Support Portal to access 24/7 personal technical support.

Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week!

Use this portal to access Blackboard Collaborate Support Online Chat, Phone, and the Ticket System, or call 1-877-382-2293.

I Cannot Connect to the Session!

Check to see that you are using the correct URL.
The issue may be related to your Java settings. Find help with Java File Association settings here.

I Cannot Hear Audio!

Check to see that your headset is plugged into your computer properly.
Check volume controls - be sure that nothing is 'muted.'
Run the 'Audio Set-up Wizard' and try again.
Log out of the session and log back in, run the Audio Setup Wizard again.
Clear your Java cache using these instructions.

Others Can't Hear Me!

Check to see that your microphone is plugged into your computer properly.
Check volume controls - be sure that the microphone is not 'muted.'
Run the 'Audio Set-up Wizard' and try again.
Log out of the session and log back in, run the Audio Setup Wizard again.
Clear your Java cache using these instructions.
If all else fails, (and you can hear but not be heard) you may be able to participate at a reasonable level by listening, using the text chat, whiteboard, polling tools and emoticons

I Keep Dropping Out of the Session!

Connection issues may be resolved by selecting a lower connection speed, which decreases the quality of the audio and video in order to preserve bandwidth. Use these instructions to adjust your connection speed.
